I have been involved in a variety of Participatory Arts Projects, and had the pleasure of working with many different community groups and individuals.

Here you can find out more about projects I have worked on.

Sunderland and South Shields 2016 v 2

The project involved Community Arts Project North East and Clare Hunt interviewing older people from Sunderland and South Tyneside. We spoke to 11 people who told us their life stories. We then worked with them to write songs and music based upon the stories they told us. The project culminated in a live performance featuring 10 of the original group in front of a live audience at the Quaker Meeting House in Sunderland. All of the participants have told us how much they enjoyed being part of the project and how much they would like to continue to be part of the music making process. You can listen to my radio documentary about the project here

The project was funded by The Cultural Spring
